I'm still in shock at the quality level of the episode of Hawaii Five-0 this week. Fuck sets. It was a perfect example of well thought-out action, built on a solid script, continuing the show's mythology.
During the season we see many amusing episodes, filmed well and nice narrative structure. Hawaii Five-0 hits often and so far we have not had any complaints in the second year, but when I see an episode like this ... I am even more impressed.
As I am not a fan of crime shows, H5-0 I need to win every week. I am very happy to have bet on this show who has the ability to start with a marriage proposal and end with jokes about it, after a ransom in the jungle of North Korea.
Of course everyone knew that the rescue of the groom disappeared Jenna frame was Wo Fat. It was clear long ago. But in this case, what counts is not the surprise factor, the factor is adrenaline. The episode was very well conducted in this regard. Shootings, torture, helicopters and even the explosion on the bridge. We can not complain about the level of effects in production and is more than I'll say 80% of the series on the air today.
Other than that, we gain a new track in this confusion that the story of the death of Dad McGarret: Shellburne. Without knowing it, Wo Fat has a tip for Steve, who did not know what was / where was Shellburne. I really liked the connection you made with the air rescue performed by Super Steve, that episode where he flew. Without the helping hand of the Seals would be a little more difficult to rescue him from that place and we would not see the parade of heavy weapons that we have seen.
The use of the characters was more than satisfactory. Steve and Jenna were the main focus, of course, but they knew fit Danno, Chin, Lori and Kono in the story perfectly. It is impossible not to love when Danno gets all concerned about the integrity of your loved one in the middle of North Korea. Steve replies that everything will be fine Danno and think of ALL the time.
Imagine that every punch, kick and shock torture that led to Steve, a loving thought about Danno rediscover the beautiful beaches of Hawaii was produced. I can not help rooting for Stevanne, my favorite shipper.
The amazing thing is that, in fact, it is impossible not to gamar Steve. This man was facing Korean terrorist factions armed with courage and face, caught like a mangy dog and still managed to use a pin (PIN A KNEE OF DECEASED!) To break free. They know the most critical: the six pack set always on display.
Lori, when she saw it, even called for the blood, mud and dirt. Embracing Steve was his number one mission. I was there, I confess, would have done the same thing.
