Previously on the last episode: Jane's All manipulations lead to the outcome of the investigation, which is run very efficiently, including both the viewer and Lisbon and other characters in the scene armed by the consultant, thus preventing the episode falls on the irritating tendency to shoot the series solutions their stories so sudden and convenient. It is interesting how the script so cruel deconstructs the image of an idol that Doc has of himself, which raises the issue of how the human being in general see things about yourself. So, Eric Laneuville, director of the episode always makes sure to note the reactions of the Doc every derogatory statement in his own image, in order to highlight the clash of realities suffered by him to each new interview. Jane almost drowns while investigating a fireman's murder, and he loses his memory, turning him into the old con man Patrick Jane.
